Adding a Client to Tax Agent Portal

1. Go to https://www.ato.gov.au/. Log in as Tax Agent (you need to scroll down) > Login

2. Click Log with myGovID

3. Login using Virna’s email – virnawhite@gmail.com > login
(You will be directed to a page where there is a CODE, give this to Virna for verification)

4. Once Logged in, click on ADD CLIENT in the portal.

5. Select your client type > tick NON-INDIVIDUAL

6. Select an identifier? Tick TFN

7. Enter the Identifier Number > Put the TFN of the TRUST

8. Enter ABN or Client Name> Put ABN of the Trust or Trust Name > Click Search

9. Tick > I confirm that I have a signed authority from this client to act on their behalf. > Next

10. Select accounts you would like to authorize> Tick INCOME TAX
Note: If the trust has an existing agent link listed, do not tick the next question on selecting an account. Click> NEXT

11. Client Details > Leave it and do not tick on anything > Click NEXT

12. Summary > Click SUBMIT
